Hey Sherry,
This was a bit of a wake up call. I'm glad I read your post. This whole business of regulating the internet is a bit of a sticky issue. What makes Blogging so powerful is that anyone can set up a blog for free (just like we did), and have a forum to express themselves and communicate with others. It would not only be a tragedy if this were jeoprodized, but very scary. People need to know that certain legislators want to put restrictions on it. Thanks Sherry.

My 20 year old computer geek son thinks that "series of tubes" is the most hysterical quote from the entire administration. It's amusing and quite scary to think that people with absolutely no expertise in technology are making decisions like these. I find an odd parallel to the Michael Gorman flap: Two people making pronouncements about technology that they know nothing about.

Excellent post as always, Sherry. It got me angry, made me laugh and showed me that no matter how dumb some of the things I say are, there is always someone dumber in our government.
